Sippel named National Professional of the Year

The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac works diligently every day to provide creative and exciting programs for children that help them explore their talents and ultimately reach their full potential. Success in this area is driven by our exceptional program leadership. In recognition of this work, we would like to announce that Pam Sippel has been named the National Boys & Girls Club Professional of the Year by The Professional Association of Boys & Girls Clubs, a group dedicated to serving as the voice of all Boys & Girls Club career professionals throughout the movement.

Sippel was chosen for this honor among the five regional winners from 2019. Sippel was awarded Midwest Professional of the Year in October 2019, being chosen from award winners and nominees across the 13 states in the region.

Sippel has served in a leadership role for the Boys & Girls Club for 10 years, focusing her time and talents on supporting the needs of elementary school students enrolled at the Club. Of her leadership, Karissa Schneider, director of operations for the Boys & Girls Club, stated, “I am incredibly excited for Pam, there is no one more deserving! Since Pam has been with the Club, she has helped us to grow and expand our programs and the impact we have on our members. The Boys & Girls Club movement has benefited greatly from Pam’s service over the years and Fond du Lac is extremely lucky to have such a dedicated and talented individual working with the youth in our community.

Of the recognition, Sippel said, “It is a privilege to be able to work for an organization that impacts not only our members but our community as a whole. I am also extremely grateful to work with a staff team that supports our mission to inspire our members to reach their full potential.” Sippel has also lent her talents out to supporting other efforts in the community. She has served as the Council Liaison for the Girls on the Run of Fond du Lac program, Boys & Girls Club liaison for all elementary schools in the Fond du Lac School District, and took a lead in fundraising efforts to raise money for lights for athletic fields in Mount Calvary. Her dedication to making the world a better place is evidenced in many places.

Sippel will accept the award at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference in Philadelphia in May 2021.
