BGCFDL Welcomes Two New Site Directors

The Boys & Girls Club is thrilled to welcome two new site directors to its leadership team. Dave Huber has taken on the role of Pier Extension Director while Anna Koepsell has returned to the Club (welcome back!) to take on the role of Roberts Extension Director.

Dave grew up in North Dakota and spent the majority of his life working in business management and raising his family. For the past decades, he’s had the opportunity to substitute teach, Coach, Golf, and teach Martial Arts. Some of his most rewarding moments have been working with young people, helping them achieve their goals and seeing the smiles on their faces when their hard work has paid off.

In the minds of children ‘after school’ is the time to unwind, time to play, and time to laugh. Working with the Boys & Girls Club I hope to provide a safe and rewarding environment, but also allow the children to experience a sense of productivity, e.g. completing their homework and working together. The art of making these few hours after school productive and enjoyable is what our team strives to accomplish. If I have one goal in my position with the Boys & Girls Club, it is to have a positive influence and ‘make a difference’ on at least one member every day. Every child is important and we continue to try to make a difference for each and every one of them every day.

Anna grew up in Fond du Lac where she lives with her husband, new baby Eliott, and their two dogs. Anna loves working at the Club so much that this is her third time returning! Her first role was working at the front desk of the Riverside site, and then she was the Teen Center Program Coordinator during college. 

I have a Social Work degree and all of my professional experience has been working with children ages ranging from 3-18 years old. I am so excited to be back ‘home’ at Boys & Girls Club! My favorite part of the job is connecting with our members and getting to know each of them on an individual level. I love the way this organization allows growth opportunities for EVERY child and introduces them to new skills and knowledge to carry into adulthood.
