BGC Welcomes New Board Members



The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is pleased to announce the installment of its newest board members:

Aaron Goldstein, Chief of Police, Fond du Lac Police Department

Aaron Goldstein joined the department in 1998 as a Police Officer. In 2005, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and was assigned as a Patrol Division supervisor where he worked until 2009 when he was assigned as an Administrative Lieutenant. In 2012, he was promoted to the rank of Captain and served as a Patrol Division/East District Commander and as the Commander of the Support Services Division. In July 2019, he was promoted to Assistant Chief of Police/Administration and on September 8, 2021 was named Chief of Police.

Aaron has been responsible for oversight of training, recruitment and hiring, records, strategic planning, department’s budget, grant applications, evidence and property control, community services, professional standards, project management, and has served as the Department’s Accreditation Manager. Through the course of his career, Aaron has been awarded with a number of Department commendations, including the Distinguished Service Award and Meritorious Service Award. Additionally, he has also served the Department as a certified Field Training Officer, Firearms Instructor, Defensive and Arrest Tactics Instructor, Professional Communications Skills Instructor, and Vehicle Contacts Instructor.

Aaron is a graduate of the 266th Session of the FBI National Academy (Quantico, VA); the International Association of Chiefs of Police ‘Leadership in Police Organizations’; and a number of other advanced law enforcement and leadership programs. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Psycho-Biology from Ripon College and a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College. Aaron is a returning Boys & Girls Club board member, after serving a full 9 years, two of which he served as Board President. The Club could not be more excited to welcome him back!

Jace Hierlmeier, Executive Vice President, Ahern

Jace Hierlmeier is Executive Vice President of Ahern, responsible for overseeing the Ahern Fire Protection division. He utilizes his experience in sales, sales management, operations management, and general management to lead the division which currently conducts business throughout the United States including district offices located in Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois and Minnesota.

Jace graduated from Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and holds a B.A. in Marketing and a MBA in finance. Jace has been a member of the J. F. Ahern Co. Management Committee since 2014. Jace currently serves on the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA) Local 669 Labor Negotiating Committee.

Since moving to Fond du Lac in 2014, Jace has been passionately involved in the local community. He is Past President of the STEM Academy of Fond du Lac and participated in several roles with the Fond du Lac Youth Archery Club.

Brittany Lynch, Talent Acquisition Manager, The Commonwealth Companies

Brittany Lynch, a proud native of Fond du Lac, received her BS in Political Science from The University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2014. Brittany now serves as Talent Acquisition Manager for The Commonwealth Companies, where she passionately connects individuals with opportunities that align with their aspirations. 

Deeply committed to her roots, Brittany’s dedication extends beyond her career. As the first Boys & Girls Club Alumni to join the board, she brings a unique perspective and an unwavering commitment to the organization that played a pivotal role in her development. Her journey with the Club began when she was 10 years old as a Club member at The Franklin site. Brittany’s first job was as a Program Aide at the former Franklin Site, igniting her passion for community engagement and youth empowerment. 

Returning to her hometown fills Brittany with a sense of purpose as she eagerly embraces the chance to give back to the Boys & Girls Club that shaped her journey. Brittany also serves as the Vice President and Volunteer Director for local non-profit, We EmpowHER. With gratitude for the support and guidance she received, Brittany is determined to pay it forward, ensuring that future generations benefit from the same opportunities that helped mold her into the accomplished woman she is today. Outside of her professional endeavors, Brittany finds joy in traveling and hiking with her husband, Tim. They both share the spirit of making a positive impact in the community they call home. 

Luke Wacek, Brand Manager, Johnsonville

Luke Wacek, a seasoned professional in marketing, finance, and accounting, currently works in marketing at Johnsonville leading the U.S. grilling business. Luke received his bachelor’s in finance from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

After growing up in Fond du Lac, Luke returned in 2014 where he currently resides with his wife and three kids (10, 7, and 2 months). Luke has a passion for enhancing the Fond du Lac community as demonstrated through participation in Leadership Fond du Lac, prior membership on the Lakeside Park Exploratory Committee, and his support for various nonprofit organizations within the community.
