Rep. O’Connor Champion for Clubs

The Boys & Girls Club would like to thank Rep. Jerry O’Connor for recent advocacy over the past several months in securing support funding for Boys & Girls Clubs across Wisconsin.  Jerry led the charge, authoring a bill that ultimately landed $11.1 Million dollars for Boys & Girls Clubs over the next two years. Programs supported through statewide funding include, but are not limited to: Graduation case management and support, mental health programs, homework help/academic support, summer learning activities and more. Without the support of legislators like Rep. O’Connor and Senator Dan Feyen, our Club would not have the ability to provide these additional layers of service that so many families in our community need.
