Elementary Summer Program Information

  • Registration: Begins on Thursday, April 4 at 9:00am
  • 2024 Program Dates: June 10 – August 16
  • TWO Locations: Johnsonville Club and Pier Elementary School
    • Pier Elementary
      • Members who attend Pier, Riverside, Rosenow, Roberts, Waters, NFDL
      • If a child has a teen center sibling or in YMCA childcare and attend these schools, they can attend the Johnsonville Club
    • Johnsonville Elementary
      • Any school not listed under the Pier program OR has a sibling that will be attending the Teen Center or the YMCA Childcare in the summer
  • Youth Served: Going into Grades 2 – 5 (limited spots available per grade)
  • Program Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • A breakfast snack, lunch and afternoon snack are served daily
  • Program Fee: $250 per child *financial assistance available*
  • YMCA Early Morning Program 7:00am – 9:00am $175/child

Teen Summer Program Information

  • Registration: Begins on Thursday, April 4 at 9:00am
  • 2024 Program Dates: June 10 – August 16
  • Youth Served: Going into Grades 6 – 12 (limited spots available)
  • Program Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • A breakfast snack, lunch and afternoon snack are served daily
  • Program Fee: $190 per child *financial assistance available*

Johnsonville Elementary Afterschool Program

  • 2023-24 Program Dates: September 11, 2023 – May 23, 2024
  • Youth Served: Grades 1-5 (see Teen Program Information below for full details regarding grades 6-12)
  • Program Fee: Free
    Due to changes in the guidelines and requirements of the 21st Century Learning Center Grants that support programs at the Johnsonville Elementary Program and Chegwin Elementary School, there will be no fees charged to families for enrollment in the program for the 2023-24 school year.
  • Program Locations: Johnsonville Club
  • Program Days:
    *All REGISTERED members can attend Monday – Friday
  • Transportation available from Riverside, Evans, and Lakeshore Elementary Schools to the Johnsonville Club
  • Program Hours: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Meals Served: Supper

Chegwin & Waters Afterschool Programs

  • 2023-24 Program Dates: September 11, 2023 – May 23, 2024
  • Youth Served: Grades 1-5
  • Program Fee: Free

  • Program Fee: $50 per member
    *Due at Registration; fee assistance for those who qualify
    **Memberships will be provided to ALL 1st graders at NO COST!
  • Program Locations: Parkside Elementary and Pier Elementary
  • Program Days:
    *All REGISTERED members can attend Monday – Friday
  • Program Hours: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Meals Served: Supper will be served at each program location
