July 2024 Face of Great Futures

Hunter (aka “HP”) is 14 years old and will be in 8th grade at Theisen Middle School this fall. He has been a Club member for 3 years and really loves attending because it makes him happy to meet Club staff and also “because Great Futures Start HERE!” Hunter’s favorite thing about the Boys & Girls Club is that he gets to bring his puppies to Club, play with Legos, and watch YouTube.

Hunter lives with his mom, dad, sister Aubree, and two dogs named Moose and Twister. He loves to spend his time watching YouTube, playing games on Wii and Wii Sports, and collecting puppies “because they’re adorable and cute.” Hunter’s favorite subject in school is science while his least favorite is reading. He is proud of the fact that he received a perfect attendance award at school! Hunter is also really good at drawing. When asked what he would like to be when he grows up, he stated, “I want to be an animator and create my own animations.” 

The best place Hunter has ever visited is Xtreme Air, and if he could go anywhere in the world right now, he would go anywhere with peace and quiet. Hunter’s favorite color is red “because it’s a cool color” and his favorite food and drink are M&Ms and root beer “because it tastes good!” 

Hunter’s advice for younger kids is to “listen to your staff always and have fun!” If Hunter had three wishes, he would 1) have endless M&Ms, 2) have endless root beer, and 3) go to Club forever!
