July 2026 Face of Great Futures

Lily is 10 years old and will be a 5th grader at Riverside Elementary School this fall. She has been a Club member for two years, and loves attending because she gets to spend time with friends and play games like dodgeball. Lily has been selected as our Face of Great Futures this month because “she has bright, energetic positivity, is always willing to help out, mentors others, and participates in everything”, stated Miss Eltayana, Johnsonville Elementary Director. In addition, “Lily is open-minded to doing anything; she is kind, inclusive and welcoming, which touches on all of our Club Values,” shared Miss Abby, Johnsonville Site Coordinator. Let’s get to know Lily!

What do you like most about yourself? I can do special things and have secret talents.

What makes you feel happy or proud? My pets, and when I have great attendance in school.

Advice for younger Club kids? Keep learning and go with the flow.

If you had 3 wishes, what would they be? 1) Fix Mom’s vocal cords because one is paralyzed from a car accident many years ago, 2) go to Japan, and 3) get a capybara.

We love having Lily as part of our Boys & Girls Club family and we’re excited to watch her grow up to do GREAT things!
