Become a Club Volunteer

The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is always looking for energetic, caring people to help our members build great futures. Whether you're a high school or college student, a Club parent, retired, or simply a community member looking to give back, there's a place for you here. From mentoring a child through their homework to lending a hand at a fundraiser, your time makes a real difference, and you can give as much or as little of it as you'd like.

Ready to jump in? Here's how to get involved.

Ways to Get Involved

Volunteer Opportunities

Mentor / Tutor

Help youth with their homework or work one-on-one with them on academic games and activities. This is a great chance to form a bond and make a lasting impact on a child's life. At the Teen Center, you can hang out in the games room or talk through the latest teen trends.

Run a Program or Start a Club

Have a hobby or passion you'd love to share? Come start a club or drop in for a day to teach a new skill, run an experiment, get youth involved in a cause, or pass along the life skills every child should know.

Special Events & Fundraisers

Throughout the year we host family nights like our Lights On Afterschool event and our New Year's Eve Bash, where you can run a booth, lead an activity, or serve food. We also hold signature fundraisers, the Reach for the Stars Dinner & Auction, the Spell for Great Futures team spelling bee, and the Fond du Lac Corporate Challenge, where you can help with planning, running, and promoting the events.

Other Opportunities

Prefer to help behind the scenes? We can always use a hand with meal preparation, cleaning, organizing, van driving, technology assistance, and marketing. Have another idea? Give us a call, we'd love to find a role that fits you.

Your Commitment

Volunteer as few or as many hours as you'd like. For planning purposes, we just ask that you schedule your time with the Unit Director at the location you choose.
