December 2025 Face of Great Futures
Christopher is 8 years old and currently a 3rd grader at Parkside Elementary. He became a Club member in 2nd grade and was selected as this month’s Face of Great Futures because “he is so kind and always has a smile on his face,” stated Miss Madisyn, extension director. “Christopher likes to help translate for younger Spanish speaking members, which is so helpful. He is also a great listener and always goes above and beyond!” Let’s get to know Christopher!

Why do you think kids come to the Boys & Girls Club? To do fun stuff and learn.
Favorite thing about Club? Fun Fridays and playing soccer in the gym.
Who do you live with? My mom, aunt, and grandma.
How do you like to spend your free time? Having fun playing with toys like magnet sticks.
What do you like most about yourself? I’m good at soccer, and I have a lot of friends because I’m a good friend.
Favorite thing to learn in school? Least favorite? I like math, and I dislike reading.
What do you want to be when you grow up? A professional soccer player like Ronaldo!
Best thing that’s ever happened to you? Picking from my teacher’s treasure box because I was a good student; I picked slime!
Favorite place you’ve ever been? Boys & Girls Club!
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Boys & Girl Club!
Favorite food? Spaghetti, because I like my mom’s sauce.
Favorite color? Blue.
Most important thing you have learned so far in life? To be good and have fun!
If you had 3 wishes, what would they be? 1) To get Christmas gifts, especially Pokemon cards, 2) to keep being good at Club, and 3) to be good in class so I can pick from my teacher’s prize box again.
