Building Great Futures and Healthy Smiles with Twohig Orthodontics
Strong community partnerships create meaningful opportunities for our Club members to learn, grow, and explore the world around them. Our partnership with Twohig Orthodontics is a wonderful example of how local organizations can work together to inspire youth while promoting healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Throughout the past year, our Club members have enjoyed several engaging experiences with the incredible team at Twohig Orthodontics. Most recently, our Teen Club members who are participating in this summer’s Fondy Futures tours had the opportunity to visit their office for a behind-the-scenes tour, where they learned how healthy, confident smiles are created and discovered the many career opportunities available in the orthodontic and dental fields. From seeing the latest technology in action to learning about the important roles of orthodontists, orthodontic assistants, and other dental professionals, our youth gained valuable insight into a career they may have never considered before.
The partnership doesn’t stop there. In addition to hosting our Teens at their office, the Twohig Orthodontics team also brought their Early Explorers Program—and a very special guest, “Tilly the Tooth”—right to the Boys & Girls Club! Through fun, interactive activities, our younger Club members learned about the importance of brushing, flossing, and developing healthy dental habits. The adventure-themed visit made learning about oral health exciting while reinforcing the importance of taking care of their smiles from an early age.
These hands-on experiences are about so much more than teeth—they’re about building confidence, encouraging curiosity, and helping young people envision their futures. Whether our members are exploring potential careers or learning lifelong healthy habits, opportunities like these help prepare them for success both inside and outside the Club.
We are incredibly grateful to the entire team at Twohig Orthodontics for their continued partnership and commitment to investing in our youth. Their generosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to share their knowledge make a lasting impact on the young people we serve.
Together, we’re helping our members build great futures—one healthy smile at a time!
